Course Description
This course explores the foundations of the liberal arts university education. The seminar focuses on the questions that frame Concordia’s Enduring Questions and Ideas curriculum, providing an in-depth exploration of a topic through great works, including texts and other mediums. The course engages the questions with critical reflection on their significance for students today in preparation for life in family, society, and church. HON 100 earns no academic credit. Successful completion of HON 100 is evidence that a student is actively participating in The Great Ongoing Conversation of the CUI Bono Scholars program. Consistent participation in this and other program activities results in graduating with honors in the CUI Bono Scholars program.
