NOTE: The 800 hours of fieldwork must be completed at 2 different levels (a minimum of 200 hours at two levels): elementary, middle, and/or high school. The hours must be supervised by an on-site counselor (holding a Pupil Personnel Services credential and two years of experience) as well as a university fieldwork supervisor.
NOTE: Students who have completed their Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEL) in Social Emotional Learning, Character, and Ethics at Concordia University Irvine may use course and course towards completion of an additional MAED degree in School Counseling with the PPSC. Conversely, students who have completed Concordia's MAED in School Counseling degree may use course and course towards completion of an additional MAEL degree in Social Emotional Learning, Character, and Ethics.
