Completion requirement
Candidates will complete coursework and fieldwork leading to two separate credentials.
The Single Subject credential authorizes candidates to teach one subject to groups of students at the middle to high school level.
The Education Specialist credential authorizes candidates to teach students (K-22) with mild to moderate disabilities including students identified with specific learning disabilities, mild-moderate intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, traumatic brain injury, emotional disturbance, and autism spectrum disorders.
Undergraduate students will need to declare the Dual Credential option by the middle of Block 1 classes: October 15, March 15, or June 15.
